NewsMerge 1.2 SP1 Released

Adiscon GmbH today announced the immediate availability of service pack 1 for NewsMerge 1.2. Adiscon recommend that all current customers apply the service pack to their NewsMerge installations.

The service pack offers the following enhancements:

• New conditional statements allow to check for empty first and/or last name - allows much easier personalization of outgoing mail
• new, much  improved manual in PDF format
• fixed a bug that caused email subscribe to fail if first name and last name were not given
• fixed a bug that made the GreetingLine placeholder operate invalidly
• fixed some minor bugs
• enhanced compatibility with Windows XP (new user interface enhancements will be supported in the next release)

NewsMerge 1.2 SP1 is a free download found at Adiscon's web site. To update a previous version of NewsMerge, download the 1.2 SP1 version from the web and install it. Then, run the database update scripts in the NewsMerge program folder.
