NewsMerge 2.1 Final Release (2.1.490)

Adiscon GmbH today announced the availability of NewsMerge 2.1 Final Release.  

The final release has a few bug fixes and some new enhances. Here is a list which shortly describes what has changed between the 2.0 Final release:

• Lots of Stability changes and minor bugfixes.

• Subscription listing speed - Improved the speed of listing subscribers in the Subscription view. 

• Import Emails - Fixed a bug in the Email Import function for Outlook. With some Outlook Version, the email addresses were truncated at the beginning.

• Subscription notifications - You can now use all replacement strings like in the Issue Edit view in the subscription notifications.

• NDR - New Postmaster Undelivery messages are detected now.

• New Field for Subscribers HTMLMail - If this field is set to true, recipient can read html email. If false, recipient will receive plain text emails. Depending on this setting, a Issue is send as plain text or html to subscriber. 

NewsMerge 2.1 Final Release is a free download found at Adiscon's web site. To update a previous version of NewsMerge, download the 2.1 Final version from the web and install it. NewsMerge will convert your database to the new format automatically.
